In a recent survey, 61 percent of chief financial officers said the biggest mistakes companies make in employee management is a lack of communication with staff. This survey was conducted by RHI Management Resources, accounting and finance consultants, and includes responses from 1400 CFOs from companies with more than 20 employees. I have worked with a number of CFOs that did not feel this way. If there were a group of executives who usually did not get it, it was the finance guys, but now, it seems, they do.
